The ability to save lives by screening for lung cancer using low-dose computed tomography chest scans (LDCT) is no longer in doubt, following the publication and presentation of data from screening programs in the United States and the United Kingdom<sup>2<\/sup>. In 2020, Australia must determine the best way to use a national lung cancer screening program to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Save Australian lives<\/li><li>Develop innovative
