","link":""},{"acf_fc_layout":"column_content","columns":[{"column_type":"video","heading_text":"Research Awards","paragraph_text":"<p>Our Research Awards Program identifies and encourages new, innovative research projects across a broad range of lung disease areas that will in turn contribute to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A deeper understanding of the cause, prevalence and impact of a wide variety of lung diseases.<\/li>\n<li>Development of new diagnostic methods and treatment options.<\/li>\n<li>Improved outcomes and quality of life for patients.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We strengthen and support the translation of research into clinical practice by ensuring our awards are offered across the breadth of multidisciplinary team professions.<\/p>\n<p>Opportunities include fellowships and PhD scholarships, project grants and grants-in-aid. There are also a number of travel grants offered each year which allow researchers to collaborate and showcase their work nationally and internationally. There are also a number of travel grants offered each year which allow researchers to collaborate and showcase their work nationally and internationally.
